Self Assessment
The Child and Family Services Review, regulated by the Administration for Children and Families and facilitated by the Social Security Act Amendments of 1994, are designed to support a stronger Federal-State partnership in improving outcomes of services to children and families. The reviews include three outcome domains that cover the continuum of Child Welfare services: safety, permanency, and child and family well-being, as well as an examination of State and local agency characteristics that effect the achievement of positive outcomes.
