Share Meeting Agenda from Nebraska Information Technology Commission: November 30th, 2009

The Nebraska Information Technology Commission released their eHealth plan. It describes the activities of five eHealth initiatives in Nebraska. The Nebraska Health Information Exchange; the Western Nebraska Health Information Exchange; the Southeast Nebraska Health Information Exchange; the Southeast Nebraska Behavioral Health Information Network (SNBHIN); and the Nebraska Statewide Telehealth Network. Of the five, four are focused on the exchange of general health information; one, SNBHIN, is focused specifically on the exchange of behavioral health information. The SNBHIN partners will use a standardized information set, most of which is already submitted to Magellan, the state's contracted behavioral health administrative services organization. SNBHIN will enable provider organizations in its region to better track outcomes for individuals who receive mental health services.
