 Empowerment for Americans With Disabilities: Breaking Barriers to Careers
& Full Employment
The National Council on Disability has released a report assessing both the challenges to and facilitators of employment for Americans with disabilities. The report covers issues that inhibit those with disabilities from working; for example, many of those with disabilities need special working accommodations or face discrimination from employers. The goal of the report was to collect and present ideas for both the private and public sectors to improve the employment rates of those with disabilities.
