 Annual Public Report: Implementing the Adoption & Safe Families Amendment Act of 2000 in the District of Columbia
The District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) released an annual report on its efforts to meet the requirements of the Adoption & Safe
Families Amendment Act. The report provides an overview of the methods of internal and external evaluation and assessment of Agency functioning. It also
highlights overview of the methods of internal and external evaluation and assessment of Agency functioning, provides analysis of fiscal year 2009 data
related to foster care populations, placements, and exits. The report also identifies barriers to improving its performance that must be addressed by legislation.
