State of  North Carolina Request for Proposals: Utilization Review for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

The NC DHHS, DMA is in need of a vendor who will provide an Utilization Review of designated mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse Medicaid services provided in North Carolina. These are services provided by area mental health centers of the Area Authorities for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse services and by direct enrolled Medicaid providers. The purpose of the contract is to assure Medicaid billing is appropriate and justified as the natural consequence of meeting the need of appropriate mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse services for North Carolina's Medicaid eligible citizens.
