 California Senate Bill 1401 to Require Outreach about PTSD/TBI Testing
for Veterans
The California Senate Bill 1401 requires the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CDVA) to develop
a plan for outreach to service veterans and members of the California
National Guard. CDVA will increase its activities to inform recent combat
veterans about screening for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and/or
traumatic brain injury (TBI) from the federal Department of Veterans
Affairs.
