 Nevada RFP 1629 for Care Management, Care Coordination, & Behavioral Health Provider Recruitment
The state of Nevada Division of Health Care Financing and Policy seeks a single
vendor to provide care management, care coordination, and to recruit behavioral
health providers. The proposal due date was
November 6, 2007. The state anticipates awarding a two-year contract, contingent
upon legislative funding, with the possibility of two one-year renewal options.
Services are expected to begin January 1, 2008.
The selected vendor will do the following:

Provide care management for the ABD population within the Medicaid
fee-for-service system

Provide care coordination for children under the age of 21 who are at-risk or
are utilizing behavioral health services in a residential or inpatient setting

Increase the number of behavioral health care providers available to the state
Medicaid plan by educating providers in and out of state about plan benefits
