 Executive Order Creating Pennsylvania Governor's Cabinet for People With
Disabilities & Governor's Advisory Committee for People With Disabilities
This Executive Order established the formation of a Pennsylvania
Governor's Cabinet and Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities.
Edward M. Butler was named the Cabinet's executive director. The cabinet
will be composed of 14 members; the advisory committee will have 58
members. The members are charged with acting as liaisons to the governor
on issues related to persons with disabilities, reviewing the Department
of Public Welfare's program and service accessibility and responsiveness,
and monitoring hiring, retention, and promotion practices in Pennsylvania
for those with disabilities.
