 Iowa Medicaid Program Preferred Drug List Provider Education
The Preferred Drug List (PDL) was created in an effort to select both clinically sound and cost effective medications for use by the members of Iowa Medicaid. The Department of Human Services is attempting to contain Medicaid drug expenditures while ensuring that members' access to effective drug solutions are preserved.
