ShareNew Jersey Seeks Child Welfare Reform Plan: Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for Adolescent Females

The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Addiction Services (DAS) and New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF), Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) are soliciting proposals to develop comprehensive and enhanced residential substance abuse treatment services for adolescent females. Specifically, funds are available for highly vulnerable, substance abusing adolescents between 13 and 18 years of age who may be involved with DYFS.

Pending availability of funds, it is anticipated that approximately $1 million will be available for awards(s) for approximately eighteen (18) adolescent female long-term residential beds at the DAS annual rate of $55,760. Multiple contracts may be awarded. Long-term residential beds may be located at scattered sites throughout the State.

Proposals are due December 4, 2008.
