Roadmap to Cost Containment: Massachusetts Health Care Quality & Cost Council Final Report

The Massachusetts Health Care Quality and Cost Council (MHCQCC) released its plans to slow health care cost growth in the state. If these costs are not addressed, they are expected to increase by six percent annually from 2010 to 2020. MHCQCC recommended 11 strategies starting with comprehensive payment reform and system-wide redesign efforts.
