 Alabama Division of Mental Illness Services Regional Plans
The state of Alabama is in the process of revising its regional
plans for mental illness services. Each region is assigned to one of
the state's four state hospitals. The objective was to develop a
regional plan for creating a community-based mental health system
for acute care services and long-term changes to the mental health
system.
