Illinois Department of Human Services Southern Chicago Area Request for Information About Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Services

The Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Mental Health (DHS/DMH) sought information from hospitals in the south Chicago area near the Tinley Park Mental Health Center regarding their interest and capacity to provide acute inpatient care for DMH to replace state-run inpatient facilities. DHS/DMH is seeking a long-term approach that would address the needs of DHS/DMH as early as June 30, 2010. Tinley Park Mental Health Center has been approved for closure.
