 Memorandum Report: Trends in Nursing Home Deficiencies & Complaints
This report finds that in 2005, 2006, and 2007, 91% of nursing homes
surveyed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services were found to
have violations. Deficiencies commonly cited were in the areas of quality
of care, resident assessment, and quality of life.
