Pennsylvania's Erie County Department of Human Services RFP for HealthChoices Managed Behavioral Health Program
The Erie County, Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services released the request for proposals in October 2010 seeking a managed behavioral health organization for its Medicaid HealthChoices program. Proposals were due by November 29, 2010. A contract will be finalized by March 31, 2011. The HealthChoices BH-MCO will coordinate care management, develop and credential a network of provider organizations, provide education and outreach, handle claims, submit required reports, and oversee quality assurance.
