The MetLife National Study of Adult Day Services: Providing Support to Individuals and Their Family Caregivers

Researchers from MetLife Mature Market Institute collaborated with the National Adult Day Services Association and The Ohio State University College of Social Work to collect and analyze data from adult day centers. Data from a representative sample of adult day centers was analyzed with a focus on characteristics of the centers, participant profiles, and the range of services offered. When possible, the results were compared with a similar 2002 study of adult day services conducted by the Partners in Caregiving Program and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
