The greatest confidant, supporter
and resource person available to CASA/GAL volunteers is their supervisor.
In some programs, this professional staff member may be known as
"coordinator" or even "coach." But whatever their name, their training
and expertise are unparalleled. Supervisors have been charged with
assisting volunteers in being the best advocates possible. Yet many are
not used to their full potential. These tips are meant to remind and
encourage you to gain maximum help from your supervisor while you speak
up for a child.
