 The MetLife Market Survey of Assisted Living Costs
This is the
second year that the MetLife Mature Market Institute has produced
a market survey of assisted living costs in the United States. The
2003 survey was conducted by telephone in 87 major markets in all
50 states and the District of Columbia. Monthly base rates, which
are defined as room and board, three meals and typically,
housekeeping and personal care assistance, were obtained for
assisted living facilities.
