The OKDHS Practice Model
This presentation shows how the state of Oklahoma improved its practices and outcomes for their children and families. The intention was to protect the children in
their homes more efficiently, improve parenting behaviors if children are unsafe, and if a child is removed, to ensure stronger connections between the children and
current family. To be sure that the processes are completed, Oklahoma created a practice model and standards to be followed, which are given in this presentation.
