"ASPERGER
SYNDROME" MEANS A NEUROBIOLOGICAL DISORDER THAT IS A
BEHAVIORALLY DEFINED SYNDROME RECOGNIZED BY CHARACTERISTICS ACROSS
MULTIPLE AREAS OF
FUNCTIONING, TO VARYING DEGREES, COVERING SOCIAL
RELATIONSHIPS, COMMUNICATIVE
COMPETENCE, PATTERN AND RANGE OF INTERESTS AND SENSORY
RESPONSIVENESS.
