 Tampa General Hospital Plan of Correction Submitted to CMS
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) submitted a plan of correction to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS) after the psychiatric unit was found to be unsafe. The plan was accepted
by CMS. TGH will hire additional supervisory and counseling staff, implement a
different safety check system, remodel rooms for safety, and use video
monitoring.
