 Senate Finance Committee Summary Amendment to the Substitute Amendment to
H.R. 6049
The legislation, agreed to by the Senate's Democratic and Republican
leadership, includes tax incentives for clean energy, relief from the
alternative minimum tax and the extension of several expiring family and
business tax provisions. It also includes legislation that will require
insurance plans offered by employers with more than 50 employees to
have parity in medical surgical services and mental health services.
