 Dallas Homeless Task Force Update:
'The
Next Big Step'
This PowerPoint presentation lays out proposed steps to create a
more effective structure to provide services to homeless
individuals. The steps are:
- Merge the Metro Dallas Homeless
Alliance with the Mayor's Task Force on Homelessness
- Finalize authority from the City
of Dallas to operate the Homeless Assistance Center which will be
the single authority on homeless issues
- Hire a chief executive officer for
the new organization in January 2007
