Audit Report Maryland Department of Juvenile Services

On September 15, 2010, the Maryland Office of Legislative Audits released an audit on the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS). The auditors reviewed DJS performance for the period August 1, 2006 through October 18, 2009. The auditor found that DJS failed to maximize federal Medicaid funding and had poorly handled its contracting responsibilities.
