For Those We Serve: A Challenge for the Next President and a Commitment From the Nation's Health and Human Service Leaders

This policy brief outlines key issues that the next President of the United States needs to address developing health and human services policies. The current state of affairs and the challenges faced in the following areas are discussed: poverty; supports for individuals, families, and communities; child well-being; health care; and federal and State relationships. Principles to guide policy development are also highlighted.
