 Transitions: Building Better Lives for Youth Leaving Foster Care. Update and Recommendations
This report presents findings of focus groups and interviews with youth transitioning from foster care to independence when they turn 18. Current laws, policies and services available for these vulnerable youth are reviewed against the impact of the services provided. Specific program recommendations are made to improve supports and services for the hundreds of youth who leave foster care to live on their own each year.
