ShareK.T. Initial Critical Incident Response Team Report

The K.T. Initial Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) Report identifies issues that are of serious concern and need improvement by Oregon's Department of Human Services (DHS). The findings focus on the issue of multiple reports of abuse/neglect and incidents that were never adequately documented or addressed. The CIRT Report recommended that DHS create a rapid response unit and a comprehensive manual with rules, policies, and guidelines; and develop additional, specialized training for Child Protective Services.
