 Pennsylvania DPW Proposed Rules for Assisted Living Residences
The purpose of these proposed regulations is to adopt the minimum
standards for building, equipment, operation, resident care, program and
services, staffing qualifications and training, and for the issuance of
licenses for assisted living residences operated in the Commonwealth.
Proposed requirements include:

Square footage for individual living units and
kitchen capacity

Special care units for individuals with
cognitive impairments

Core services and supplemental health care
