 CMS Letter to DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES
The purpose of this letter is to provide general guidance on implementation of section 403 of CHIPRA, which applies several elements of section 1932 of the Act
(Medicaid managed care rules) to State CHIP managed care programs. Also included is a set of questions and answers to provide further information about these
provisions in CHIP.
