Program Evaluation of the Multiple Response System: Kentucky

Written by Ruth A. Huebner, PhD, Child Welfare Researcher, this article is on the ongoing program evaluation efforts, since 2001, of the Alternative Response System (called Multiple Response System or MRS) in Kentucky. The program evaluation of MRS has been and continues to be formative in nature. Evaluation has also been broad including evaluating intake criteria, examining descriptive data on the MRS program, examining program outcomes, and evaluating the Continuous Quality Assessment (CQA). This report also reflects the released report by McDonald and Associates (2005). Kentucky's data and MRS system was extensively reviewed in this report as the illustrative case study.
