Draft Version of New York OMH 2010-2014 Statewide Comprehensive Plan for Mental Health Services

The New York State Department of Health and the Dormitory authority of the State of New York awarded 11 health care organizations in the state $109 million in two- year state grants to coordinate heath care via health information technology. These findings were noted in the “Statewide Comprehensive Plan for Mental Health Services 2010-2014.” Most of the funding went to organizations that are planning to implement a Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care for people with serious, chronic, mental health disorders such as major depression and schizophrenia.
