The Family Social Services Administration (FSSA) was created in 1991 by the Indiana General Assembly to better integrate the delivery of human services. FSSA has approximately 9,700 employees, located in offices throughout Indiana's 92 counties as well as in its Central Office located in Indianapolis. FSSA is organized into five major divisions which include: the Office of the Secretary (OS), Division of Disability, Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DDARS), Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA), Division of Family Resources (DFR), and Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP).

The results set forth in this report may serve as a basis for the new administration, as it considers ways to improve
existing business processes, reduce organizational risks and strengthen program continuity.
