A Performance Audit of Department of Human Services' Division of Developmental Disabilities' Oversight of Third-Party Contracts by NJ State Comptroller

The objective of the audit was to determine the effectiveness of the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) oversight of the third-party contracts it awards to service providers. Specifically, DDD's monitoring of the providers' fiscal and program operations; appropriateness and reasonableness of expenditures being claimed by providers and paid for by DDD; and the procedures for contract awards, renewals, and modifications.
