Texas Department of Children & Families Seeks Foster Care Redesign Contractor

On August 1, 2011, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released its foster care redesign request for proposals (RFP 530-12-0003), seeking a contractor to provide a continuum of foster care services. DFPS is planning to award two contracts, one to serve a metropolitan area (either DFPS Region 7 or 11) and one to serve a non-metropolitan area (DFPS Region 1 or Regions 2 and 9). Proposals are due November 1, 2011.
