 The MetLife Market Survey of Nursing Home &
Home Care Cost s
Each year, the MetLife Mature Market Institute
produces a market survey of nursing home and home care costs in
the United States. The 2003 survey was conducted by telephone in
87 major markets in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Private pay rates were obtained for private and semiprivate rooms
in licensed nursing homes and for Home Health Aides provided by
licensed home care agencies.
