 Funding for Health Information Technology Under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (A-01-09-29155)
The objective was to evaluate the Social Security Administration's (SSA) plans for the funds earmarked for health information technology (HIT) under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. To perform this review, the federal Office of the Inspector General gathered and reviewed
information on ARRA and interviewed SSA staff to obtain information on the Agency's plans for funds earmarked for HIT under ARRA.
