 Connecticut Request for Proposals for Residential Treatment Center of Excellence for
Children & Youth With Cognitive Limitations
The Connecticut Department of Children and
Families has released a
Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a provider to
manage and staff one or more therapeutic residential facilities for youth
between the ages of 13 and 21 who have cognitive limitations. The facilities will operate as
a Center of Excellence and
will provide residential services for youth with mental
retardation, developmental disabilities or delays and co-occurring
behavioral and psychiatric problems. The estimated date for the start of the
contract is October 1, 2007, and the contract will run through June, 2010.
