Tarrant County Request for Proposals for Kinship Caregiver Home Assessments

This contract will purchase kinship caregiver home assessments and court-related services as requested by Child Protective Services for children in the legal jurisdiction of Tarrant County, Texas. Families to be studied may reside in the following counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise Counties. Proposals are due August 7, 2006. It is anticipated that the maximum available funding for services purchased under this procurement's initial contract period (October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007) is $36,000.

Tarrant County may award one or more contracts under this procurement as necessary to ensure adequate services to clients in the geographic service area. The contract(s) awarded under this procurement will be effective from October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007. At Tarrant County's option, and upon approval by the provider(s), the contract(s) may be renewed for three additional one-year periods and would run through September 30, 2010.
