ShareThe General Assembly of Pennsylvania: House Bill 1150

The Pennsylvania House Bill 1150 will force insurance providers to offer $36,000 of coverage a year towards essential early intervention services and therapies for individuals with autism. The bill was introduced by House Speaker Dennis O'Brien and co-sponsored by Senator Jane Orie. The Pennsylvania House Bill 1150 amends the Insurance Company Act (Title 18-Insurance Code), which requires all private insurers to pay for the provision of certain types of treatments for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
