Getting Started with Evidence-Based Practice: Psychoeducation

The United States Department of Health and Human Services published their Knowledge Informing Transformation (KIT) on Family Psychoeducation. This KIT, titled, Getting Started with Evidence-Based Practice: Psychoeducation, gives the reader an overview of activities that are generally involved in implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs) and explains how to make EBPs culturally competent. The topics discussed in this KIT include: Consensus Building Support for Change, Integrating the EBP into Policies and Procedures, Assessing Training Needs, Monitor and Evaluate Regularly, and Maximizing Effectiveness by Making Services Culturally Competent.
