ShareHealing Mind & Body: Behavioral Health & Reform

The Alliance for Health Reform, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Open Society Institute presented a briefing on the behavioral health aspects of national health reform bills under discussion in Congress. The speakers: Charles Ingoglia, vice president of public policy for the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare; Eric Goplerud, Ph.D., director of Ensuring Solutions at George Washington University; and Michael Hogan, Ph.D., commissioner of the New York Office of Mental Health, shared their understanding of the health reform bill and how the legislation might affect mental health and addiction treatment.
