ShareProtecting Children in Families Affected by Substance Use Disorders

This manual is set up to give advice on how to help the children who live in homes with substance abusers. It is structured to provide groundwork for understanding substance use disorder, describe its impact on children, and explain types of child maltreatment due to substance use disorder. The goal is to create a system for the entire family that is successful and limits the amount of maltreatment the children see and receive everyday.
