 Colorado Senate Bill 07-036
The bill calls for all group policy plans and carriers
subject to the provisions of the law to provide coverage for treatment of
mental illnesses at the same levels as that provided for physical
illnesses. Senate Bill 07-036 which was signed into law by Colorado
Governor Bill Ritter. It becomes effective January 1, 2008, and will apply to
group health insurance policies, plans, or contracts offered, issued, or
renewed on or after that date.
