 Center for Health Care Services Issues Request
for Information for BMCO or
ASO for Center Mental Health Authority
The Center for Health Care Services is
accepting formal informational proposals to perform behavioral
managed care/mental health authority administrative services for the
Center's mental health authority functions.
The Center currently provides Mental Health authority functions
through a state performance contract with the Texas department of
health Services for Bexar county only. It is anticipated the
Center's future performance contracts may expand the coverage area
into a much larger region of south Texas.
Proposals are due by August 31, 2006. Contracts are expected to be
announced by October 15, 2006.
