 SAMHSA Coding for SBI Reimbursement
Reimbursement for alcohol and/or drug use screening and brief
intervention is available through commercial insurance codes, Medicare
codes and Medicaid codes. This resource from the Substance Abuse and
Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) lists the codes and the
reimbursement rates for each.
