Louisiana Senate Bill 749; Act No. 565: to Provide for the Closure of Jetson Youth Center

July 2, 2008 This bill was signed into law as Louisiana Act 565 by Governor Bobby Jindal on July 2, 2008. The bill specifies that Jetson Youth Center will be closed by June 30, 2009. All youth will be transferred to regional youth centers with no more than 48 youth total who will be housed in four 12-bed housing units.
