2011 North Carolina Developmental Disabilities Support Needs Matrix Guide

This booklet, published by Piedmont Behavioral Health, provides information about the Support Needs Matrix funding system in 2011 and also a guide to helping understand how that system works. The Support Needs Matrix is designed to distribute funding in a fair, equitable way based on assessed support needs. This system should provide a framework for individuals making decisions on how to use the Medicaid funding given to them and also support them to use the funding wisely to meet their life goals.
