 Gardener, et al. v. Schwarzenegger
This lawsuit calls for an injunction against
the implementation of California Senate Bill
1137 signed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The
proposed legislation would fundamentally
change the terms of the Substance Abuse and
Crime Prevention Act of 2000 approved as a
voter referendum in November 2000. The
injunction was granted July 12, 2006.
