Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction State-Operated Facilities Transition Plan
The Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction presented its plans to transition specific groups of residents of its state-run psychiatric hospitals to other
settings. The transition plan identified the plans for each facility and when the transition was slated to be completed. A key goal was to decrease the total
number of beds in the state hospitals, but to increase the percentage of those beds for use by individuals with serious mental illnesses.
