 Complaint for Declaratory & Injunctive Relief for Violations of Civil
Liberties by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department
Attorneys from the Disability Rights Legal Center filed suit in U.S.
District Court on May 29, 2008, against the Los Angeles County Sheriffs
Department. The plaintiffs alleged widespread and pervasive violations
related to classification, housing, access to programs and services,
medical care, and physical barriers for people with disabilities.
